  • Page 5   3. Remove the screw holding the card retention bracket.   4. Lift the card retention bracket and set it aside in a secure place.   5. Remove the filler bracket to create a card-slot opening.   6. Prepare the card for installation. See the documentation that came with the card for information on configuring the card, making internal connections, or otherwise customizing it for your computer.

NOTE: The 3.5-inch media card reader is not interchangeable with the hard drive carrier.

Remove the four screws securing the hard drive to the chassis. NOTICE: Ensure that you do not scratch the hard disk circuit board, while removing or replacing the hard drive.
