    3. Managing Battery Power Recharging and Replacing Batteries. Conserving Battery Power. The primary portable source of power for the OmniBook is its replaceable, rechargeable battery. Your OmniBook accepts a main battery (in the battery bay) and, if desired, a second battery (in the plug-in module bay). In addition to the replacable battery, there is a permanent, internal backup battery, which recharges whenever the OmniBook is on or connected to ac.
