Install the air filter case cover and then tighten the air filter case cover nut. Spark arrester (For MX175/MX200) WARNING The engine and muffler will be very hot after the engine has been run. Avoid touching the engine and muffler while they are still hot with any part of your body or clothing during inspection or repair. - Page 39 Periodic maintenance Use a flathead screw driver to pry out and remove the spark arrester from the muffler. 1. Spark arrester Remove the carbon deposits on the muffler cap, muffler screen and spark arrester using a wire brush. NOTICE When cleaning, use the wire brush lightly to avoid damaging or scratching of the muffler screen and spark arrester.

Install the muffler cover to the muffler, then install the muffler cover bolts.
