SAFETY PRECAUTION WARNING: Service should not be attempted by anyone unfamiliar with the necessary precautions on this projector. The following are the necessary precautions to be observed before servicing this chassis. 1 . . Adjustment software (DPJAdjustmentTool2.exe) ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENT operates following adjustments. 1. Preparation a. Initial setting of keystone correction (KEYSTONE) <Test equipment and jigs> b. Initial adjustment of input signal level (SUB) . Personal Computer c. LCD panel drive center voltage adjustment (Windows P/C, OS: Windows 95/98, ME, 2000, XP) (VCOM) .

2. Setting of keystone correction (3) Keep projector on 30 degree and click [OK]. (Perform the adjustment when main PC board is replaced) This operation initializes the data of the tilt sensor for keystone correction. Tilt sensor’s performance abilities vary with the sensors, and the sensor output data is affected by change of ambient air temperature.

Service Mode How to sift to the Service mode While the Audio level adjustment bar or the Camera gain adjustment bar is displayed on the screen, press the buttons, [INPUT], [ON/STANDBY], [AOUT KEYSTONE] and [AUTO SET] simultaneously. Then, the projector shifts to the Service mode. The Service mode will be maintained until you pull the AC plug out.
