EDID Upgrade EDID Introduction xtended isplay basic information about a display device and its capabilities, including vendor information, maximum image size, color characteristics, factory pre-set timings, frequency range limits, and character strings for the model name and serial number. The information is stored in the display and is used to communicate with the system through a Display Data Channel (DDC), which sites between the display device and the PC graphics adapter.

Mechanical Disassembly & Reassembly This section provides disassembly & Reassembly procedures for PD311 & PD323 DMD Projector. Before you begin any of these procedures, be sure to turn off the power, computer system, and other attached devices; then disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove Top Cover Procedure Unscrew 3 screws in the Bottom Cover and 1 screw in the left Cover, then, unplug 1 FPC Cable to remove Top Cover Module. Remove Keypad Board: (1) Unscrew 4 screw and unplug 1 FPC to remove the Keypad Board.

6. Remove Right Cover Module / Front Cover Module Procedure Unscrew 1 screw to disassemble the Right Cover Module and Front Cover Module. Unscrew 2 screws to remove the Lamp Blower / Air Duct in the Right Cover Module Loosen 2 tenons to remove the IR Board in the Front Cover Module.

7. Remove Light Cut / Thermal Switch / Color Wheel / Photosensor Board Procedure Remove Light Cut / Thermal Switch: (1) Unscrew 1 screw to remove the Light Cut. (2) Unscrew 2 screws to remove the Thermal Switch. Remove Color Wheel / Photosensor Board: (1) Unscrew 2 screws to remove the Color Wheel.
8. Remove Engine Module Procedure Unscrew 1 screw to remove the Interrupt Switch. Unscrew 4 screws to disassemble the Engine Module. (1) Take off Fan Duct (2) Unscrew 3 screws to disassemble the Focus Ring. (3) Unscrew 1 screw to disassemble the Zoom Ring Holder.

9. Remove Blower / DC DC / Bottom Cover Module Procedure Remove Blower / DC DC: (1) Unscrew 3 screws to remove the Blower. Notice: Please ensure the blue wire arrangement (The direction should be heading forward as the picture shows) while assembling the DC DC Module.
Mechanical Reassembly Procedure 1. Assemble Bottom Cover Module / DC DC / Blower Procedure Assemble the Bottom Cover: (1) Screw 1 screw to assemble the Elevator Foot. (2) Screw 1 screw to assemble the Ballast-to-lamp connector Module Assemble DC DC / Blower: (1) Screw 1 screw to assemble the DC DC Module.
2. Assemble Engine Module Procedure (1) Screw 2 screws and then screw 4 screws to assemble the DMD Module. (2) Stick on Copper Foil. (1) Screw 1 screw to assemble the Zoom Ring Holder. (2) Screw 3 screws to assemble the Focus Ring. (3) Put on Fan Duct Screw 4 screws to assemble the Engine Module.
