    Introduction The RUGGEDCOM RMC is an industrially hardened fiber optical media converter specifically designed to operate in harsh environments such as those found in electric utility substations and factory floors. The RUGGEDCOM RMC provides industrial strength Ethernet copper-to-fiber media conversion allowing for 10Base-T to 10Base- FL and 100Base-TX to 100Base-FX over SingleMode or MultiMode fiber optics.

Mounting the Device The RUGGEDCOM RMC is designed for maximum mounting and display flexibility. It can be equipped with adapters that allow it to be attached to a DIN rail or panel.
