1. Preparation 1.1. Check the Power Plugs Please check that all power plugs are connected to the back of server. 1.2. Check the NICs 1.2.1. Production Network Please check that all Network Interface Cards are connected as required. This means the two dual port adapters mounted in slots number 8 and 9 should be connected.
1.3. External Storage (JBOD) In case you have a 2TB appliance with an external storage please connect the storage to the 2 RAID controller. The RAID controller is mounted in PCI slot 5. Please connect its port “A” to port “0” of the JBOD.
If you have an external storage please also power on the storage unit by pressing both dip switches at the back side of the storage near the power units. Wait for the server to finish the boot operation. Once it has completed you will be presented the following login screen.
