    Easy to Set Up and Use A quick setup wizard guides users through a simplified installation process so that you can configure the DWA-X3000 without having to call a networking expert for help. With incredible wireless performance, reception, and security, this adapter is a great choice for easily adding or upgrading wireless connectivity to desktop computers.

    Connect the base cable to the RP-SMA connectors. Bracket Full height and low profile bracket included in the packaging for flexible installation. For Bluetooth support, connect the Bluetooth Header Cable to the DWA-X3000 and the other end to an available F_USB connector on your motherboard.     Section 2 - Installation Disable Other Wireless Adapters To prevent any conflicts with the D-Link wireless adapter, it is recommended to disable other wireless adapters (as well as any unused Ethernet adapters). Access File Explorer and right-click on This PC, then select Properties.

    1. Keep the number of walls and ceilings between the D-Link adapter and other network devices to a minimum - each wall or ceiling can reduce your adapter’s range from 3-90 feet (1-30 meters.) Position your devices so that the num- ber of walls or ceilings is minimized.

    1. Turn off your computer, unplug the power cord and open the computer to access the motherboard. 2. Insert the DWA-X3000 into a PCIe X1 slot on the motherboard. 3.
