    NOTE l The sleep function is enabled by default on eSpace 8850 and the sleep interval is 30 minutes. l If you do not perform any operations in a specified period, eSpace 8850 automatically turns off the backlight of the screen and enters the sleep mode.

    NOTICE eSpace 8850 can synchronize its time with the NTP server after connecting to an IP network. When eSpace 8850 is connected to a PSTN, the system time cannot be saved upon a phone restart. From the home screen, tap The Settings screen is displayed.

    4.8 Phone Lock. 3.7 Phone Info The Phone Info screen displays the status of eSpace 8850. If eSpace 8850 is faulty, check the device information before you seek help from the service provider. From the home screen, tap The Settings screen is displayed.

    4.1 Login Registration 4.1.1 Log In If no account is registered with the eSpace 8850, the login screen is displayed when the phone is started. You can perform the following operations to log in to the home screen of the phone: Power on and then start the phone.

    4 Phone Features 4.2 Managing Contacts 4.2.1 Managing Favorites You can add a maximum of 12 contacts as favorites to the home screen of eSpace 8850. Adding a contact as favorites on the Home Screen From the home screen, tap The Contacts screen is displayed.

    NOTE The search results are displayed in real time. 4.2.2.2 Managing Contacts eSpace 8850 can store a maximum of 2000 contacts. Each contact can have a maximum of 4 numbers saved. Table 4-3 describes icons in the detailed contact information.

    All contacts will be deleted! 4.2.2.3 Managing Groups The eSpace 8850 allows you to set a maximum of 20 groups and add contacts to different groups. The default Blacklist and All groups cannot be deleted or edited. You can call blacklisted contacts but cannot receive calls from the blacklisted contacts.
