    System overview Application Overview SINUMERIK MCU 1720 offers modularity, openness, flexibility and uniform structures for operation, programming and visualization. It provides a system platform with trend-setting functions for almost all technologies. Together with SINAMICS S120 & SINAMICS S210 drive systems and SIMATIC S7-1500 automation system connected using PROFINET, SINUMERIK MCU 1720 forms a digital system that is suitable for the medium and upper performance sectors.
