It is designed to help you become familiar with the EcoView EMS and the EcoView Web applications.     System Overview System Overview Welcome to the EcoView™ Energy Management System (EMS), a wireless system designed especially for retail and small commercial facilities to help manage energy costs. Key benefits include: ● Real-time tracking, management, and control of energy consumption.

    Press the EcoView MicroPad controller controls to make a selection. NOTE: A stylus may be more effective than finger on this resistive Touchscreen. ● Press the buttons on the left side of the EcoView MicroPad controller to monitor usage, control the system, and view information.     System Requirements Internet Connectivity The EcoView MicroPad controller can be addressed using DHCP or it can be assigned a static IP address. In either case, no additional network configuration is necessary— the EcoView MicroPad controller automatically establishes a Web connection with the Siemens Cloud Services.

    Audit NOTE: This feature is only accessible to users with Administrator privileges. The Audit feature allows you to view the EcoView Web activity for your sites. Type a full or partial name in the appropriate filter field.

  • Page 20 Checking the User Enabled box provides access to EcoView Web. Unchecking the User Enabled box disables the account. A user can no longer login, and the account will not be listed in the Admin screen unless the Hide disabled logins? box is unchecked.

    EcoView Web Admin Roles section. Displays all the available EcoView Web user roles. For more information, see User Account Access Levels 24]. Distributor drop-down list. (Only applies for Distributors who have multiple Distributor Reseller accounts.) Displays all active distributors.     The Site Activation page enables you to create an activation code to allow new sites to establish communication with the Siemens Cloud Services (SCS). Once you have pre- configured the site, an activation code is generated, which you then must enter at the EcoView MicroPad controller during installation.

    Site Explorer Site List Pane All the sites for your account display in the Site List pane. The term site refers to a physical location where an EcoView MicroPad controller and accompanying devices are installed. ● To display specific sites in the list, type a full or partial site name in the Search Site Name box.

    Internet connection or the EcoView MicroPad controller being powered off. ● Once power returns to the EcoView MicroPad controller, there is a 15- to 30- minute delay before the EcoView MicroPad controller begins reporting usage and displays as online.
