  • Page 37 2. INSTALLATION 2.6.2 Cleaning the rod and lubricating the carriage bushings The print carriage bushings are factory lubricated and should not normally require further maintenance. However, in a dusty environment, you should have to clean the print carriage rod periodically. Also, whenever the print carriage rod is found sticky or dirty, you have to clean it.

OPERATION OPERATOR INTERFACE EXPLANATION This section describes the various actions which an operator can initiate through the keyboard, and explains how to interpret the displays in the different modes of operation available. 3.2 OPERATOR INTERFACE DISPLAY AND KEYPAD: The display gives a clear indication of action prompts by means of two lines of 16 characters and the keypad consists of 13 keys.
