Cisco 500 Series Stackable Managed Switch Administration Guide Release 1.3
Total—Displays the number of TCAM entries which are currently being
used.
Maximum Entries—Select one of the following options:
-
Use Default—On Sx500 the number of TCAM entries is 25% of the
TCAM size (512). On SG500X the number of Router TCAM entries is
50% of the Router TCAM size (4096).

User Defined—Enter a value up to 2048 entries on Sx500 and up to
8192 on SG500X.
The following fields are displayed for IPv6 routing:
Neighbors—Count is the number of neighbors recorded on the device and
TCAM Entries is the number of TCAM entries being used for the neighbors.
Interfaces—Count is the number of IP addresses on interfaces on the
device and TCAM Entries is the number of TCAM entries being used for the
IP addresses.
On Link Prefixes—Count is the number of prefixes defined on the device
and TCAM Entries is the number of TCAM entries being used for the
prefixes.
Routes—Count is the number of routes recorded on the device and TCAM
Entries is the number of TCAM entries being used for the routes.
Total—Displays the number of TCAM entries which are currently being
used.
Maximum Entries—Select one of the following options:

TCAM size (512). On SG500X the number of Router TCAM entries is
50% of the Router TCAM size (4096).

User Defined—Enter a value up to 2048 entries on Sx500 and up to
8192 on SG500X.
Save the new settings by clicking Apply. This checks the feasibility of the router
resources settings. If it is incorrect, an error message is displayed. If it is correct,
the settings are copied to the Running Configuration file.
