    BEFORE USE SETTING UP THE UNIT Determine where to use the unit before unpacking it. Where to Use the Unit • Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight or high temperature, such as in front of a heating source, because this can cause discolouration or hardening of the surface material.

Insert two batteries into the controller. Make sure that their orientations (+ and -) are correct, and insert the - end of each battery first.
