    Other settings you can make After setting up using the Setup Navigator, you should be ready to start enjoying your DVD recorder. It’s possible, however, that you may want to make a couple of additional settings, depending on how the recorder tuned into the terrestrial TV channels.

    Getting started • If the recorder is connected to your TV using a SCART cable and your TV supports Direct Recording, you can use this to very simply start recording the TV channel you’re currently watching. See Direct recording from TV on page 48 for detailed instructions. Press REC to start recording.

    Playback Chapter 5 Playback Introduction Most of the features described in this chapter make use of on-screen displays. Navigate these using the (cursor buttons) and ENTER.
