Physical Placement
You can install the Cisco CVA122/122E Cable Voice Adapter in the following ways:
• Placed flat on a desktop or other stable, flat surface. Do not install the Cisco CVA122/122E Cable
Voice Adapter on an uneven or soft surface.
• Placed vertically on a desktop when placed in the support stand that is shipped with the unit. See
Figure 4 for details.

Note The Cisco CVA122/122E Cable Voice Adapter can be mounted vertically on either of
its two sides, but for stability, Cisco recommends using only the orientation shown in
Figure 4, so that the coaxial cable connector and its attached cable are at the bottom.
