Starting with Release 7.0(3)I5(1), you can configure IGMP snooping over VXLAN. The configuration of
IGMP snooping is same in VXLAN as in configuration of IGMP snooping in regular VLAN domain. For

See the following guidelines and limitations for IGMP snooping over VXLAN:
• For IGMP snooping over VXLAN, all the guidelines and limitations of VXLAN apply.
• Beginning with Cisco NX-OS Release 7.0(3)I5(1), IGMP snooping on VXLAN VLANs is supported
• Beginning with Cisco NX-OS Release 7.0(3)I5(2), VXLAN IGMP snooping is supported on Cisco
• By default, unknown multicast traffic gets flooded to the VLAN domains on Cisco Nexus 9300 Series
• IGMP snooping over VXLAN is not supported on any FEX enabled platforms and FEX ports.
