    General Information Pre-disassembly Instructions Before proceeding with the disassembly procedure, make sure that you do the following: Turn off the power to the system and all peripherals. Unplug the AC adapter and all power and signal cables from the system. Place the system on a flat, stable surface.

    Removing the Battery Pack Turn base unit over. Slide the battery lock/unlock latch to the unlock position. Slide and hold the battery release latch to the release position. Then slide out the battery from the battery bay. Note: Battery has been highlighted with the red rectangle as above image shows. Please detach the battery and follow the local regulations for disposal.
