Turning the Printer ON/OFF The printer can be turned ON/OFF using the power switch on the right side of the printer body. Be sure to observe the following instructions in order to prevent unexpected problems. Turning the Printer ON To use this printer, press "I" of the power switch to turn the printer ON. After running a self-diagnostic test on the printer unit and optional accessories, the printer will be ready to print.

Output Trays Output Tray Types This printer has two output trays: "face-down output tray" and "face-up output tray". Do not switch the output tray during printing. This may result in misfeeds. CAUTION Keep your hands or clothing away from the roller in the output area. Even if the printer is not printing, sudden rotation of the roller may catch your hands or clothing, resulting in personal injury.
