Using the phone
Menu guidance
Your telephone's functions are accessed using a menu that has a number of levels.
Main menu (first menu level)

Press the control key right v in the handset's idle status to open the main
menu.
The main menu functions are shown in the display using
symbols. The selected function is indicated by means of
an orange circle around the symbol, and the associated
name appears in the header of the display.
To access a function, i.e. to open the corresponding sub-
menu (next menu level):
¤
Using the control key p, navigate to the required
function and press the display key
Press the display key
briefly to return to idle status.
Submenus
The functions in the submenus are displayed in a list
form (example to the right).
To access a function:

Scroll to the function with the control key q and
press
Press the display key
briefly to return to the previous menu level or to cancel
the operation.
Reverting to idle status
You can revert to idle status from anywhere in the menu
as follows:
¤
Press and hold the end call key a.
Or:
¤
Do not press any key: after 2 minutes the display will automatically revert to idle
status.
Settings that are not confirmed by pressing the display keys

will be lost.
