    Enjoying analog and digital TV There are a few steps to perform when you first use your TV. Getting started watching your TV 1. Setup Connect the power and antenna cable to the TV. See “Basic connections” on page 13. Insert the batteries in the remote control.

This is accomplished through optimal Gamma correc- tion plus saturation, brightness and contrast adjustments. Movie mode makes the most of high-definition movie soundtracks.

    Channel management Open the Channel Management menu as described on page 27. This menu provides the following settings: Auto scan Auto scan allows you to scan for new or deleted channels. If you completed the setup wizard the first time you turned on your TV, all available channels are listed.

    Preferred subtitle language If multiple subtitles are available, the TV will display the language selected in this option, if it is available. When watching TV, press the SUBTITLE key to see a list of available subtitles. Intelligent zapping This option sets the delay before a channel is added to the zapping memory. If a delay is set here, channels viewed for less than this period will not be added to the zapping memory.

Parental control allows you to enter a password and effectively stop anyone without the password from watching TV.
