Quick Install Guide
Installation
1.
Install the lens on the camera.
2.
Verify the signal format as set to NTSC (North America) or to
PAL (International).
3.
Connect the camera.

Using an Optional HJZTP Keyboard Controller
To control the camera using a Honeywell HJZTP keyboard
controller, you must first select a supported protocol and enter an
RS485 Camera ID #. Using the menu controls on the camera rear,
access the RS485 SETUP screen (MAIN MENU
SETUP
RS485 SETUP).
1.
In the PROTOCOL field, select either the Diamond (default)
or Pelco D protocol.
2.
In the CAMERA # field, select an RS485 Camera ID, from 1
to 255 (1 is the default).
3.
Select the camera ID on the HJZTP Controller.

2. Set the Day/Night Function
On the DAY/NIGHT SETUP menu (MAIN MENU
SETUP), select:
•
AUTO for automatic switchover from day mode to night
mode, OR
•
OFF to keep a color image at all times
3. Set the AGC
The Automatic Gain Control is set by the WDR preset chosen. You
can refine the AGC setting in the AGC menu (MAIN MENU
CAMERA SETUP
AGC).
The light level at which the camera changes from day mode to
night mode—and from night mode to day mode—is affected by
the AGC value. The higher the AGC value, the lower the light level
required to change from day to night.
CAMERA
• Press 90 on numerical
keypad + Preset to access
the MAIN MENU.
• Rotate the Joystick Up,
Down, Left, and Right to
navigate through the
menus and submenus.
• Press Iris Open to enter a
screen or select a menu
option.
