Installing the Guard
Parts needed for this procedure:

Lock washer
Procedure
1. Remove the 2 Phillips screws and washers taped to the
guard (Figure 3).
2. Slide the guard onto the trimmer base as shown in Figure 3.

Insert the ends of the wire edge guard into the holes in the trimmer
housing as shown in (Figure 4).
