    About your system The Dell PowerEdge R730 and R730xd systems are rack servers that support up to two Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 processors, up to 24 DIMMs, and 28 hard drives/SSDs. NOTE: The R730 and R730xd systems support only internal, hot-swappable hard drives.

System identification The identification buttons on the front and back button panels can be used to locate a particular system within a rack. When one of these buttons is pressed, the system status indicator on the back flashes until one of the buttons is pressed again.
