Convertible Bump Case User Guide
I N S T R U C T I O N S
This case is designed to provide a compact, environmentally
enhanced solution for using and transporting your Fujitsu
Tablet PC. This case incorporates a clear lens that covers the
display. This helps protect the system from dust contamina-
tion and light liquid splashing.
The convertible bump case is designed so that you can use
your system either in notebook or tablet configuration.

It is important to always latch the display to the
base of the system when in tablet made or in
closed notebook mode. Be sure to press the latch
button prior to attempting to lift the display from
the keyboard. Failure to do so could result in
damage to the latch.

  • Page 3 IMPORTANT • If you plan to keep your Tablet PC installed in the case for a long time without being oper- ated, be sure to shut the system down so that it does not overheat. • Do not attempt to open the optical drive when the tablet is installed in the case.

  • Page 5 Rotate the screen (Figure 6) and tuck the corners of the rotated display under the display straps. Before laying the back of the display against the keyboard, be sure to press the latch attachment so that it swivels to the back of the display, allowing it to latch to the system.

System in Tablet Configuration Shoulder Strap There are D-rings on all four corners of the case. To attach the shoulder strap, open the spring-loaded clips on the end of the strap, and attach them to two of the D-rings.
  • Page 7 Accessing the USB Ports There are two covers over the USB ports. If you would like access to these ports, you will need to cut the covers off using a sharp bladed object, such as an X-Acto blade. Be sure to remove the system before attempting to remove the covers.
