Remote host system on/off: Press this button to power-on and connect to the host system or to power-off the host system when a session is connected. Disconnect from the host system button: Press this button to disconnect the IBM CP20 Workstation Connection Device from the host system.

It is recommended to update the firmware on the host system and on the connection device before setting up the connection. For more information, see “Updating the IBM CP20 Workstation Connection Device firmware” on page 16 and "Updating the compression card firmware" in the "Installation and User's Guide" for your host system.

Once the IBM workstation connection device boot process is finished, the workstation interface is displayed. When a network connection has been established, the network icon in the lower-right corner of the user interface is displayed without a red X.

Governing Law Both you and IBM consent to the application of the laws of the country in which you acquired the Machine to govern, interpret, and enforce all of your and IBM’s rights, duties, and obligations arising from, or relating in any manner to, the subject matter of this Statement of Limited Warranty, without regard to conflict of law principles.
During the warranty period, IBM provides repair and exchange service for the Machine under the type of warranty service IBM designates for the Machine. The warranty period for the Machine is a fixed period starting on its original Date of Installation.

Limitation of Liability: The following is added to this section: Where IBM is in breach of a condition or warranty implied by the Trade Practices Act 1974 or other similar legislation, IBM’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods.
