Results: All user data on the internal memory of your device will be deleted, including downloaded apps, photos, and device settings. Unless you remove the SD card before you reset your device, user data on the card will in most cases be deleted.

As a temporary solution, press the power key lightly. If the screen isn’t turned back on, press the power key again. Make sure that you have removed the temporary protection film that covered the screen when you first bought your Xperia™ device. The film is only designed to protect the screen during shipping and is easy to peel off.

Make sure that your SIM card is working properly. Insert your SIM card in another device. If this works, it is probably your device that is causing the problem. In this case, contact the nearest Sony Mobile service centre. Search for a network from the device to check if any networks are available.
