Technical description General technical description The adapters are intended for the mounting of IEC standard motors or SIEMENS servomotors. The adapters are equipped with grease-lubricated roller bearings. The bearings are permanently lubricated. The adapters are made of aluminum or gray cast iron.
Technical description 3.4 Backstop K2X Backstop K2X NOTICE Service life limited Drive speeds below 1000 r/min or frequent starting and stopping operations (≥ 20 starts / stops per hour) will limit service life. Ensure that the backstop is replaced in time when frequent starting and stopping operations are performed.

Service and maintenance 6.3 Lubrication Lubrication The bearings of the SIMOGEAR adapters are permanently lubricated up to size 250. The specified grease service life values are valid for an ambient temperature of up to a maximum of +40 °C. For every 10 °C increase in temperature, the grease service life is reduced by a factor of 0.7 of the value in the table (max.
