Installation steps:
1
1. Insert the special service tools 2 and 3
into the camshaft end of the valve guide
1.

NOTICE
Do not reuse the valve guide 1, always re-
place it with a new one.
2. Strike the special service tool to drive the
valve guide into the cylinder head.
3. Apply engine oil to the inner surface of the
valve guide and surface of the special ser-
vice tool 4.
4. Insert the special service tool 4 into the
valve guide 1, and then ream the valve
guide.
TIP
• Turn the valve guide reamer clockwise to
ream the valve guide.
• Do not turn the special service tool 4 coun-
terclockwise when removing the tool.

5. Clean the valve guide inner surface.
6. Measure the valve guide inside diameter.
