QUICK START GUIDE Folder Express 3001

General information
The Folder Express 3001 is an automatic online folder with a variety of different folding styles. It supports the processing of plans up to a width of 914mm (36") with an endless length (optional).
The fan folding is automatic, the cross folding is done manually by the operator.
This document is additional to the main documentation. It contains legal information, safety instructions and short introductory guide.

Turn off the folder and call your support partner in any cases of technical and mechanical issues.
Take special care with zones marked with warning labels. Refer servicing to your support partner.

QUICK START GUIDE Folder Express 3001 Installation Flip up the display and the cross-fold input. Lift the folder with two persons off the pallet. Open the top cover and remove the paper Cut the straps and lift the carton upwards. - Page 3 QUICK START GUIDE Folder Express 3001 Installation Place the power adapter in the holder Connect the cable of the external power supply with the 24V input of the machine. Connect the serial cable from the printer to the serial port on Connect the power cable to the main socket and switch on the folder (marked red in the picture above).

Select a folding program by tapping on the entry with the title block in front and the cover sheet The folder automatically switches to manual mode.
