    PM - 9 Precautions for Preventive Maintenance CAUTION The red-painted screws should never be removed. INSTRUCTION The yellow-painted screws require adjustments when components are reinstalled. When reinstalling the components, follow the check/adjustment procedures. REFERENCE With this machine, the mounting screws for the shock absorber-attached guide plates to be replaced are blue-painted.

    PM - 12 Checking for Image Problems I Check for Nonuniformity, Sensitivity, and Density (1) Expose two IPs of all sizes found at the institution (both ST and HR types). Expose the first in the normal direction, and the second in a 180-degree rotated orientation. The IP exposure conditions are as follows.
