3-2. Cleaning the Running System
Check to see whether dust etc. adheres to the guide, gate , sprocket and retainer etc. or not. If it does
perform the cleaning with care not to damage the film.

Cleaning cloth : 3-184-527-01
Cleaning fluid : 9-919-573-01
Notes
. Be sure to turn off the power before cleaning.
. Each block of the system consists of the precision parts and is adjusted precisely. Be careful not to
damage each part and to apply excessive force during cleaning.
. As for the S and T side PT rollers, remove dust with washing in the water or using an adhesive tape.
. Do not touch the greased portions during cleaning. If grease adheres to the cleaning cloth, replace it
with a new one. Using a cleaning cloth smeared with grease may cause grease to adhere where it
should not.
. After cleaning, do not thread the film before the cleaning fluid evaporates completely.
