1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

GENERAL SAFETY
WARNING! Ensure Health & Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using this equipment.
Under Health and Safety Law, Employers and Self Employed Personnel have a legal duty to ensure Safe Working Conditions for all
employees and personel that may come into contact with this equipment. In particular they must carry out a specific risk and hazard
assessment in the workplace to eliminate or reduce any risk found and must record, update and retain records of the results of this
inspection.

Maintain the tyre changer in good condition (use an authorised service agent).
Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
WARNING! check regularly for damaged parts. Any part that is damaged must be repaired or replaced before the equipment is next used.
Locate the tyre changer in a suitable work area, keep area clean and tidy and free from unrelated materials. Ensure that there is adequate
lighting.
WARNING! The tyre changer must be bolted to a work surface. For best results mount the Mini Tyre Changer at waist height.
Keep the tyre changer clean for best and safest performance.
Wear approved safety eye protection.
Keep hands well clear of the bead breaker.
Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip safety shoes.
Remove ill fitting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings other loose jewellery and contain and/or tie back long hair.
Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.
DO NOT use the tyre changer for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.
DO NOT operate the tyre changer if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
DO NOT allow untrained persons to operate the tyre changer.
DO NOT stand on the tyre changer.
DO NOT operate the tyre changer when you are tired or under the influence of
alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
2. SPECIFICATIONS
suitable for changing tyres with small rim diameters commonly found
on agricultural, leisure and industrial vehicles such as ATV's, golf
buggies, mowers, garden tractors and handling equipment. Mount
directly onto work surface. supplied with tyre bar and alignment cone.

3. OPERATION
IMPORTANT! Never attempt to fit or remove a tyre without first lubricating
both beads.
3.1
Bead breaking
3.1.1
Deflate the tyre by removing the valve core and remove all balance weights.
3.1.2
Place the wheel with the valve facing down, over the threaded centre bar (fig.1).
3.1.3
Thread the locking nut onto the threaded centre bar, using the alignment cone and optional spacers if required.
Note: Ensure that the wheel is securely fastened to the tyre changer before proceeding with the operation.
3.1.4
Attach the bead breaker to the locking nut using one of the locking pins.
3.1.5
Adjust the shoe of the bead breaker so that it sits on the tyre and aligns close to the edge of the wheel rim and locate using the other
locking pin (fig.2).
3.1.6
Apply firm pressure to the bead breaker by pushing down on the long handle, gradually work around the wheel rim until the bead has
separated from the rim.
3.1.7
Turn wheel over and repeat to free the other bead.
3.1.8
Remove the bead breaker bar from the locking nut.
3.2
Tyre removal
3.2.1
Lubricate both tyre beads with an approved rubber lubricant.
3.2.2
Place the wheel onto the stand with the narrow bead seat uppermost and lock down using the lock nut and spacers.
3.2.3
Push down on the tyre until there is enough room to insert the ball end of the tyre removal tool under the bead of the opposite side of
the tyre (fig.3).
3.2.4
Push down on the removal bar, so that the bead is raised above the rim.
3.2.5
Hold the tyre to prevent it from turning and pull the removal bar around anti-clockwise until all the bead has been raised above the
rim (fig.3).
3.2.6
Lift the tyre up, remove inner tube if fitted and repeat the procedure for the lower bead (fig.4).
