Prerequisites
1. Remove the
optical
drive.
2. Remove the
base
cover.
Procedure
1. Locate the solid-state drive on your computer.
NOTE:
If available, remove the thermal shield before removing the solid-state drive.
2. Remove the screw (M2x2.2) that secures the solid-state drive to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Lift the solid-state drive at an angle and remove it from the solid-state drive.
