KEEP OUT OF BATTERY POLES WHICH CONTAIN DANGEROUS DC- VOLTAGES CAUSING FATAL ACCIDENTS. NOTE: MANIPULATION ON THE BATTERY SYSTEM SHOULD ONLY BE DONE BY TRAINED SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE PERSONEL OF THE MANUFACTURER OR HIS CERTIFIED SERVICE PARTNERS. INAPPROPRIATE MANIPULATIONS OF THE BATTERIES CAN CAUSE LIGHTNING SPARKS.
2 Installation − PARALLEL BATTERY CABINETS OR UPS INTERNAL BATTERIES MAY PRESENT VOLTAGE AT TERMINALS OF A BATTERY CABINET UNDER SERVICE. MAKE CERTAIN ALL POLES OF THE BATTERY CABINET DISCONNECT DEVICE ARE OPEN BEFORE UNDERTAKING INTERNAL SERVICE ACTIVITY. − MAKE CERTAIN ALL DISCONNECT DEVICES OF INSTALLED WARNING! BATTERIES ARE OPEN BEFORE CONNECTING OR DISCONNECTING AN ADDITIONAL BATTERY CABINET TO BATTERY VOLTAGE BUS’.

3. Extract the 6 plastic battery trays from the unit one by one. (fig. 3) 4. Take 8 batteries and place them inside the plastic battery tray by taking care of the correct side, please refer to the figure 4. Fig.

8. Re-insert all the cabled battery trays inside the unit by using the correct shelf how described on the chapter 3 (Electrical drawing). (fig. 7 and fig. 8) Fig. 7 Fig. 8 9. Connect all the shelf’s together how described on the chapter 3 (Electrical drawing).

11. After have been cabled all the battery trays, use a multimeter to check the correct voltage of the unit that should be approx.. 288V. 12. If the test works fine, you can close the unit by re-assemble all the covers and connect the battery cabinet with a UPS, for more information refer to the chapter 4.3.2 of the user manual.
