Battery Installation/Battery Charge ∫Battery installation 1 Install the battery in the handset. 2 Close the handset cover. ∫Battery Charge To power the handset, charge the battery. Place the handset on the base unit and charge for about 6 hours before initial use.
Recording a Greeting Message You can record a personal greeting message of up to 2 minutes. If you do not record your own message, one of two pre-recorded greetings will be played for callers. All messages (greeting, incoming and voice memo) are stored in digital memory.
Making/Answering Calls with the Handset ∫To make a call 1 Press [ 2 Dial a telephone number. ≥After a few seconds, the display will show the length of the call. 3 To hang up, press [OFF] or place the handset on the base unit. Caller ID Service This unit is compatible with a Caller ID service offered by your telephone company. If you subscribe to a Caller ID service, the calling party’s information will be shown on the handset display after the first ring. After the second ring the handset and the base unit will announce the displayed name following every ring (Talking Caller ID feature).
