4. Slowly pour approximately 80% of the specified oil
into the filler tube and slowly add the additional oil to
bring it to the full mark on the dipstick (Figure 33).
5. Start the engine and drive to a flat area. Check the oil
level again (Figure 33).
6. If needed, add oil to the full mark on the dipstick.
Changing the Engine Oil Filter
Service Interval: Every 200 hours
Note: Change the engine oil filter more frequently when
operating conditions are extremely dusty or sandy.
1. Drain the oil from the engine; refer to Changing the
Engine Oil.
2. Change the engine oil filter (Figure 35).
Note: Allow 2 minutes for the new oil to be absorbed
by the new filter material.

Note: Ensure the oil filter gasket touches the engine
and then an extra 3/4 turn is completed.
3. Fill the crankcase with the proper type of new oil; refer
to Changing the Oil.
