Setting the Keypad & Display
Backlight Mode
You can turn off the keypad & display
lights to save the battery. (When you
power on, the display lights up even if
you set it to "OFF".)
(default: ON)
Selecting the Display Language
You can select the display language:

If the PS is connected to a Panasonic
Digital Super Hybrid System (DSHS)
while the setting is still "AUTO", the
display language will depend on the
system setting.
Selecting the Standby Display*
There are four types of Standby Display.
– Extension No. (EXTN)
– DECT System No. (SYS-NO.)
– Both of the above (SYS-NO. & EXTN)
– Neither of them (OFF)
(default: OFF)
Selecting the Date / Time Display*
You can select whether to display the
date and time (DATE) or the time
(TIME) in the standby mode display.
(default: TIME)
*: Only displayed when " " is
displayed.
